San Juan Cruise Port

San Juan Cruise Port, located at the entrance of Puerto Rico's historic capital, is the ideal starting point for cruise passengers eager to explore the island's rich heritage, lively waterfront, and Caribbean charm. Its strategic location near Old San Juan offers seamless access to ferries, tours, and vibrant local experiences just steps from your ship.
2

Puerto Rico Ferry

Located along the same promenade as the cruise piers, the Ferry Terminal connects San Juan to the coastal town of Cataño with a scenic 12-minute ride across the bay. Ferries depart every 30 minutes and offer panoramic views of El Morro and the Old San Juan skyline. Note: the ferry service does not operate between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM daily.
3

Casa Bacardí

Step into the world of one of Puerto Rico's most iconic spirits with a visit to Casa Bacardí. Learn about the history of the Bacardí family and its legacy of rum-making through engaging guided tours. Enjoy a tasting session or join a cocktail-making class in a lush, tropical setting. Buses run directly from the ferry terminal to the distillery, making transportation simple and efficient.
4

Cataño Waterfront Boardwalk

After your visit to Casa Bacardí, return to the coast and explore the colorful Cataño boardwalk—a local gem that offers sweeping views of Old San Juan's skyline across the bay. With a relaxed ambiance, sea breeze, and delicious local seafood served at waterfront kiosks and restaurants, it's the perfect place to unwind before returning via ferry. (Note: the ferry does not operate between 1–3 PM, so plan your return accordingly.)

From world-class rum to seaside views, this half-day trip takes you across San Juan Bay to discover the flavors, culture, and coastline of Cataño.
